These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RecipeSage Clipper Chrome extension ("the Extension"), available at the Chrome Web Store. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.
RecipeSage Clipper is a browser extension that allows you to clip and save recipes from any website to your RecipeSage account. The Extension reads recipe content from the web page you are actively viewing and transmits it to RecipeSage servers for storage in your account.
RecipeSage is an open-source project. RecipeSage Clipper is a companion extension designed to work with the RecipeSage platform. Use of the RecipeSage platform itself is subject to RecipeSage's own terms of service and privacy policy, available at recipesage.com. RecipeSage Clipper is an independent tool and references to "RecipeSage" refer to the open-source project, not a corporate trademark holder.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Extension. By using the Extension, you represent that you meet this age requirement. A RecipeSage account is required to use the Extension's core functionality.
You agree to use the Extension only for its intended purpose: saving recipes from websites you are lawfully accessing to your own RecipeSage account. You agree not to:
The Extension software is provided in connection with the RecipeSage open-source project. The Extension itself, including its source code, design, and branding associated with RecipeSage Clipper, is provided under the applicable open-source license. Recipe content clipped through the Extension belongs to its respective original creators and publishers. Users are responsible for ensuring their use of clipped recipe content complies with copyright law and the terms of the source websites.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all websites or versions of Chrome. Recipe extraction accuracy may vary depending on the structure of the source website.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of RecipeSage Clipper shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension, including but not limited to loss of data or failure to clip recipes correctly.
The Extension is designed to operate on any website (active tab) at your direction. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party websites from which you clip recipes. Clipping content from a website does not imply our endorsement of that website.
We reserve the right to update or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the Extension after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
